Lawyer NEWS - Telstra Next G™ network exceeds CDMA coverage
Telstra has announced that its Next G™ network is now bigger, better and faster than CDMA on every measure. The Next G™ network is reported to cover more than two million square kilometres and more than 98.9% of the Australian population, compared with 1.6 million square kilometres and more than 98% of the population for CDMA.
Telstra had committed to ensuring that the Next G™ network met or exceeded the coverage of the CDMA network before closing down the latter on 28 January 2008.
